Welcome to the new 511 Georgia app.

The 511 Georgia mobile app provides real-time road and traffic information to Georgia drivers. Construction, congestion, and other delays are centrally monitored by the many cameras, sensors, and other data available to the Georgia Department of Transportation. The app aims to offer assistance in planning routes, foreseeing potential delays, and reaching destinations promptly.

This app includes a scrollable, zoomable map that showcases:

• Traffic Events, such as collisions and other road hazards
• Over 2000 Cameras that are regularly updated so users can observe current road conditions
• Message Signs
• Rest Areas
• Express Lanes

Additional features of the app consist of:

• Route Comparison: Users can input a destination and receive up to 3 routes with respective travel times displayed
• Route Schedules: Users have the option to save a route and schedule it for daily monitoring so they can receive automatic notifications before departure
• Drive Mode Alerts: By activating this feature before driving, users will receive audio alerts regarding any road delays ahead
• Call 511: Users can directly contact 511 for reporting issues or road conditions along their route
